Chairman of Jogorku Kenesh met with the Speaker of Grand National Assembly of Turkey
At the meeting with Mr. Kahraman, Chairman of Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Toraga of Jogorku Kenesh thanked colleague for the visit to Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the 7th Plenary Session of the TURKPA, as well as congratulated him on re-election as Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
In turn, Mr. Kahraman also congratulated Mr. Dzhumabekov on the occasion of his election to the post of Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh and noted importance of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, culture, economy and trade. The project on founding of a Center of Turkish Culture in Kyrgyzstan was discussed and took into consideration.
"The relations between two countries based on common historical, cultural, humanitarian and other values are a friendly strategic nature," – said Toraga. He also stressed that Turkey is one of the main trade and investment partner of Kyrgyz Republic.
At the end of the meeting Toraga expressed Kyrgyzstan's readiness for further interaction aimed at mutually acceptable and fruitful resolution of all issues with a view to developing fraternal bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
