Head of Azerbaijan-Türkiye Business Association visited Secretariat
On 20 May 2022, head of Azerbaijan-Türkiye Business Association (ATİB) Cemal Yangın paid a courtesy visit to Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er.
The parties informed each other on the activities of their organizations. Bilateral economic growth, ongoing and future projects, as well as cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the relevant fields were discussed during the meeting.
Prior to the visit, on 19 May, upon the invitation of Mr. Cemal Yangın, Secretary General took part in the General Meeting of ATİB on Baku.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişçi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye in the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Cahit Bağcı, parliamentarians, Azerbaijani and Turkish businessmen. The participants exchanged views on economic relations between the two fraternal countries. Head of Association Mr. Yangın noted that Turkish companies would share their experience in the reconstruction work of Karabakh.
Mr. Cemal Yangın was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of the Association.
ATİB was established in 2004 by Turkish businessmen operating in Azerbaijan together with Azerbaijani businessmen with the aim of creating a synergy in the new development of initiatives that revives the economy of Azerbaijan.
