The First Meeting of Experts Group for elaboration of Model Law was held in online format
On 8 April 2022, the First Meeting of the Experts Group on the elaboration of the draft Model Law “On the Development of Social Entrepreneurship” was held in an online format within the framework of the Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs. Experts from the parliaments and relevant ministries of the member countries, as well as representatives of the TURKPA Secretariat participated in the meeting.
The opening session was addressed by Mr. Talgat Aduov, Deputy Secretary General. In his speech, Mr. Aduov stressed the efforts of TURKPA in the shape of a common legal space to facilitate the integration processes among Turkic countries.
The meeting was moderated by Mr. Bauyrzhan Datkayev, Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and focused on the discussion of the draft Model Law “On the Development of Social Entrepreneurship” elaborated within the Commision. The participants exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of legal framework regulating social entrepreneurship in the TURKPA member states.
Emphasizing the importance of holding such meetings and regular consultations with participation of experts, the participants agreed to hold the next second meeting in the in-person format in Baku, Azerbaijan within the framework of the Workshop of the Commission on 21 April 2022.
