TURKPA attended International Parliamentary Conference “Elbasy. Independence. Parliament”
TURKPA Secretary General participated at the International Parliamentary Conference dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held on 22 November 2021 in Nur-Sultan under the theme “Elbasy. Independence. Parliament”
The Conference hosted by Mr. Nurlan Nigmatulin, TURKPA Chairman-in-Office, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan was addressed by parliamentary leadership of Turkic Speaking countries, high-level dignitaries, parliamentarians, as well as representatives of international organizations.
The long-term vision of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in the state-building and growing role of Kazakhstan as a full member of the world community, modern state with a strong economy, as well as the important role of the Parliament of Kazakhstan in these processes were underlined during the conference.
In his speech, TURKPA Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er stressed the decisive contribution of Nursultan Nazarbayev to the establishment and strengthening of Kazakh statehood and the development of Turkic cooperation. Secretary General underlined the initiatives of Elbasy in the establishment of Turkic institutional cooperation, as well as on the development of “Turkic World Vision 2040” program aimed at deepening integration among Turkic states.
