TURKPA participated at Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit
Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Economic Cooperation Kunduz Rustembekova participated at Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit, co-organized by Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) and Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), with support of the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on 27-28 October 2021, in Baku. The two-day event dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the prominent Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, gathered together participants from more than 20 countries, including ministers, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic corps, business, youth organizations and investors.
The opening ceremony was addressed by Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Mr. Farid Gayibov, Head of the Finance Office of the Presidency of Turkey Mr. Göksel Aşan, Head of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation Mr. Bilal Erdoğan, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Mammad Musayev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Çetin Ali Dönmez, IRCICA Secretary General Mr. Mahmut Erol Kılıç, Chairman of the SMBDA Management Board Mr. Orkhan Mammadov and President of ICYF Mr. Taha Ayhan.
The summit's agenda featured panels that focused on the issues such as investments in Karabakh, start-up ecosystem for economic recovery in post pandemic era, investments into start-up projects and role of technological investments in achieving sustainable development.
