Workshop within Commission on Environment and Natural Resources was held

On 25 May 2021, Workshop on preparation to the next 6th meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Environment and Natural Resources was held in an online format. The program of the Workshop also included discussion of the Draft Model Law on Conservational Utilization of Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency.
Experts from the member parliaments, representatives of the relevant ministries, as well as TURKPA Secretariat attended the event.
In opening the meeting, Deputy Secretary General Ali Yıldız delivered a welcome speech. The participants exchanged views on the management of water resources and land in the member countries that will be the main theme of the Commission’s next meeting, having also made proposals on discussed documents.
