TURKPA attended Conference “Turkestan – Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World”
On 24 May 2021, Deputy Secretary General Ali Yıldız took part at the Conference “Turkestan – Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World: Integration and Prospects of Cooperation” organized by Ahmet Yesevi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
The event brought together parliamentarians, heads and representatives of Turkic cooperation organizations, as well as representatives of academic circles.
In his speech, Mr. Yıldız stressed the significant and unique role of Turkestan as the spiritual capital of the Turkic world. He noted the role of Turkic institutional cooperation in the integration processes among the Turkic-speaking countries and personal contribution of The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in this context, mentioning that the term “Turkic cooperation” figures prominently in the international relations system. Noting the great potential for cooperation among the Turkic-speaking states, Mr. Yıldız informed on the work being carried out within the framework of the Assembly.
