TURKPA attended Workshop on Improved Water Governance

On 5 May 2021, Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Environment and Natural Resources Emin Hasanov took part in the Workshop on “Improved Water Governance: Towards Sustainable Agricultural Development” organized by the FAO Partnership and Liaison Office in Azerbaijan.
Head of FAO Partnership and Liaison Office in Azerbaijan Ms. Melek Çakmak opened the workshop and welcomed the participants. The meeting brought together representatives of the relevant ministries, government agencies, international organisations and experts.
The event focused on issues such as effective use of water, agricultural productivity and food security, water policy and impacts of climate change.
