TURKPA took part in Seminar dedicated to 30th anniversary of independence of Turkic-speaking states
On 24 February 2021, Deputy Secretary General Ali Yıldız delivered speech in the online seminar “Turkic States in the 30th Anniversary of Independence: Past, Present and Future” co-organized by the International Turkic Academy and Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Mr. Yavuz Selim Kıran, representatives of Turkic cooperation organizations and academic circles took part in the event. The participants noted the progress and commendable achievements of Turkic-speaking countries over the past 30 years, exchanging views on the prospects of further cooperation among the countries, particularly in the areas of science and education.
Mr. Yıldız noted the growing bilateral and multilateral cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries during the last 30 years and stressed the significant role of Turkic cooperation organizations in strengthening of political, socio-economic and cultural relations in this context. He mentioned that such cooperation contributes immensely to sustainable development, peace and security in the region. Mr. Yıldız also informed the participants on the work carried out within the framework of the Assembly in the sphere of education and science, as well as the upcoming events to be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkic-speaking countries.
