TURKPA took part in online Consultative Meeting on Bilge Tonyukuk Monument
Deputy Secretary General Ali Yıldız delivered a speech during an online Consultative Meeting on Bilge Tonyukuk Monument dedicated to the 1300th anniversary of the monument, on 10 September 2020.
The video conference was organized by Turkish National Commission for UNESCO. The opening session was addressed by Mr. Öcal Oğuz, Chairman of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, representatives of Turkic cooperation organisations and relevant ministries of Turkey. Representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO made speeches during the video conference, as well.
The participants conducted discussions on the current situation of the Bilge Tonyukuk Monument and protection of the cultural heritage and exchanged views on the monument in terms of UNESCO values.
