Chairman of Milli Majlis received Secretary General
On 16 December 2019, Mr. Ogtay Asadov, Chairman of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan received the Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov.
The parties discussed the preparations for the upcoming Ninth Plenary Session of TURKPA to be held in Baku on 18 December 2019.
The Ninth Plenary Session will bring together heads of parliaments, parliamentary delegations, representatives of Turkic cooperation institutions and international organisations. TURKPA Chairmanship will be handed over from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The agenda will include items such as adoption of reports and recommendations of the last meetings of TURKPA Commissions, report of TURKPA Observation Mission on early Presidential election in Kazakhstan, revised legal documents of TURKPA and model laws.
