TURKPA attended IPA CIS Plenary Session
On 22 November 2019, TURKPA delegation led by Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov attended the jubilee 50th Plenary Session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly held in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Parliamentary delegations from the IPA CIS member countries, representatives of international organizations and academic circles took part at the Plenary Session. The agenda included presentation of draft model laws prepared by IPA CIS Permanent Commissions and draft Long-Term Plan of Model Law-Making of the CIS for 2020-2022.
At the end of the Session, members of the IPA CIS Council held a press conference.
On the margins of the Session, Secretary General met with the heads of parliamentary delegations from TURKPA member countries.
Deputy Secretary General Mr. Fuad Alakbarov also took part in the event.
