Secretary General took part in PABSEC Plenary Session
Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov took part in capacity of observer and delivered a speech during the 54th Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly held on 20-21 November 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In his speech, Secretary General informed on the activities of the Assembly and priority directions enshrined in the TURKPA Strategy Paper adopted during the 8th Plenary Session in 2018. Mr. Mamaiusupov noted that PABSEC had applied for observer status in TURKPA and it would be included on the agenda of the upcoming Ninth Plenary Session of TURKPA to be held in Baku on 18 December 2019.
The Plenary Session brought together parliamentary delegations, observer organisations and countries, as well as guest institutions.
On the sidelines of the event, Mr. Mamaiusupov met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and members of participating delegations.
Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Economic Cooperation Mr. Kanatbek Kurmanbekov also attended the event.
