TURKPA Medals award ceremony organized in Turkish Parliament
An award ceremony with Medal on “Tenth Anniversary of TURKPA” and photo exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of TURKPA was held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) in the framework of the Seventh Meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs on 16 May 2019.
Mr. Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of the GNAT and TURKPA Chairman-in-Office attended the ceremony and made a speech. In his speech, the Speaker congratulated the parliamentarians, expressed his gratitude for their significant contribution to the cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries and development of parliamentarism and wished them success in their future activities.
Mr. Mustafa Şentop, as well as former speakers of the Turkish Parliament – Mr. Köksal Toptan, Mr. Mehmet Ali Şahin, Mr. Cemil Çiçek, Mr. İsmet Yılmaz, Mr. İsmail Kahraman and Mr. Binali Yıldırım, former parliamentarians – Mr. Nevzat Pakdil, Mr. Haluk İpek, Mr. Ekrem Erdem, Mr.Feyzullah Kıyıklık and Mr. Erkan Aydın, member of the GNAT, were awarded with Medal on “Tenth Anniversary of TURKPA”.
Participants of the ceremony got acquainted with the photo exhibition comprised of the photographs reflecting the activities of TURKPA during the past ten years.
