Secretary General of Turkic Council visited TURKPA Secretariat
On 6 May 2019, delegation headed by Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of Turkic Council and comprised of Mr. Gismat Gozalov, Deputy Secretary General and Mr. Farrukh Jumayev, Project Manager, visited the TURKPA Secretariat and met with Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov.
The parties informed each other on current and future activities of their related organizations and exchanged views on further development of interaction and strengthening of coordination among the Turkic cooperation institutions.
Both Secretaries General emphasized the importance of parliamentary dimension of Turkic cooperation and necessity to consolidate efforts on rendering legislative support to the work of related institutions.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the library of the Secretariat which was opened last year and comprised of publications, albums from member countries reflecting friendship and brotherhood, as well as souvenirs with national symbols. A family photo was taken at the end of the visit as well.
