TURKPA delegation met with Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan
On 3 May 2019, TURKPA delegation comprised of Mr. Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, Chairman of the TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs, Member of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov met with Mr. Abulfas Garayev, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
The parties exchanged views on conducting of experience exchange on development of cinematography in the TURKPA member countries, and preparations of new cinematographers, as well as role of TURKPA in approximation of national legislations in this field.
In the course of the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibilities of cinematography production of Turkic-speaking countries to become more visible in the international arena.
