Secretary General held meetings in Ankara
In the framework of his visit to Ankara on 21 February 2018, Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov met with Ekrem Erdem, member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) and the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations, Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu, Secretary General of GNAT, Mehmet Süreyya Er, Vice President of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and İlyas Demirci, Secretary General of the Union of Turkic World Architects and Engineers (TDMMB).
During their meeting, GNAT Secretary General Mr. Kumbuzoglu and Secretary General Mr. Mamaiusupov talked about the issues of common activities and possibility of organizing the meeting of Secretaries General of the member parliaments.
The GNAT member Mr. Erdem and Secretary General Mr. Mamaiusupov held consultations on the activities of TURKPA, as well as exchanged views over the issues related to the language, alphabet and culture of the Turkic world.
In his meeting with Vice President of TIKA Secretary General Mr. Mamaiusupov noted the importance of solid relationships that exist between the organisations and expressed his gratitude to Mr. Er for TIKA's support to the activities of TURKPA. The parties also talked on possible joint cooperation in the future.
Mr. Mamaiusupov also attended the dinner given in his honor by the Secretary General of TDMMB Mr. Demirci.
