Secretary General held meetings in Parliament of Azerbaijan
On 24 January 2018, Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov met with the Chairman of the Health Committee of Milli Mejlis, Chairman of the TURKPA Commission on Environment and Natural Resources Mr. Ahliman Amiraslanov and Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports of Milli Mejlis Mr. Fuad Muradov.
During the meeting with Ahliman Amiraslanov, Secretary General briefed about future plans in the framework of the Commission on Environment and Natural Resources. Parties discussed issues related to the Commission activities and events which are scheduled to be held in 2018. Mr. Amiraslanov positively assessed the initiatives of the TURKPA Secretariat and expressed his support to the discussed projects.
At the meeting with Fuad Muradov, the parties exchanged views on youth and sports issues. Both Secretary General and Azerbaijani parliamentarian stressed the importance of mutual relations in the framework of relevant parliamentary committees among the TURKPA member countries and suggested a number of proposals in this direction. At the same time, Mr. Muradov noted the significance of activities at the international level and emphasized the necessity to collaborate within international organizations and expressed his readiness to support TURKPA’s activities in this direction.
