TURKPA Secretary General Mr. Ramil Hasanov made a speech on “Multilateralism and Parliamentary Diplomacy” in the framework of the 127th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union which took place on 22 October 2012 in Quebec City, Canada.
At the begining of his speech Mr. Hasanov shortly informed participants on the tasks, objectives, activities and latest developments of TURKPA. Then Secretary General talked about TURKPA’s role in development relations among Turkic-speaking states. At the same time he noted about TURKPA’s relations with other national parliaments, cooperation with international organizations and particular importance to strengthening a common inter-parliamentary platform for dialogue at a global level.
